The intent of this project is to work collaboratively to provide 3 years of academic support, STEM experiences, higher education exploration, and career guidance to 50 McCaskey High School students who, without these supports, might not pursue a STEM career or enroll in post-secondary education. Potential first-generation college students and others who aspire to post-secondary education and/or a STEM2D career in spite of significant academic, family, societal and/or economic challenges are particularly encouraged to apply.

* 15. Eligibility Criteria:
·      Student must be enrolled in 9th grade at McCaskey High School during the 2020-21 school year.
·      Student must be passing 9th grade with the expectation of attending 10th grade during the 2021-22 school year.
·      Student must self-identify as meeting the intent of this project.
·      Student must agree to a minimum of 8 hours a month of participation for three years.

* 16. School attendance is also one of our eligibility criteria. We understand that this has been an unusual year because of COVID19; however, it is important to us that participants have demonstrated regular attendance and a commitment to learning. Have you maintained at least a 65% attendance rate this year in spite of COVID. If not, please explain why you have not been able to maintain your attendance and why this will not be a problem over the next 3 years.
