Rochester Area Vanpool Feasibility Study

The Regional Transit Service (RTS) is conducting a study to determine the feasibility of providing a Vanpool service to residents of the Rochester area.

Vanpools are a form of transportation that carry 5 to 12 commuters to work from a common origin to a common destination. Those riding in a Vanpool share the cost of its operation by paying a monthly fee.  There are also federal income tax benefits of up to $130 per month available to those who participate in a Vanpool consisting of at least 7 riders.

We would like to hear your thoughts about the potential for a Vanpool program in the Rochester area. Please take a few minutes to answer the following questions.

Thank you for your participation.
