The New York City Economic Development Corporation and New York City Parks are constructing a new 2.3 acre waterfront park between East 144th Street and East 146th Street in the Bronx. The project site is bounded by the CSX/Oak Point rail line and the Harlem to the west, and the Major Deegan and Exterior Street to the east. Currently in the design phase, the project is anticipated to include an esplanade as required by the Special Harlem River Waterfront District (SHRWD) zoning, environmental remediation, waterfront improvements, landscaping, fencing/railing, lighting, park amenities, utilities, and a comfort station. The project team is seeking feedback from the local community on various programming elements for the park design. Please take the survey below to provide your feedback.
