Have your say about your pay and conditions at CoGG!

The City of Greater Geelong Enterprise Agreement expires in June this year. The Australian Services Union is the Local Government Union and will be negotiating your new enterprise agreement. We want to hear from you about what issues are important to you!

All responses to the survey are confidential and will be handled in accordance with Australian Services Union privacy policy. Results will only be reported in aggregate form and anonymously.

The right to stop work due to excessive heat, smoke or dust storms
The right to paid leave if I cannot work or are told to go home to stay home, or leave to pick up children or older relatives because of fire, floods, severe storms or any other natural disaster
Rights regarding the impact of climate change such as heat, poor air quality and more
Better access to flexible working arrangements to balance work and family responsibilities
Prevention of bullying, harassment and stress in the workplace
Reduce the use of contractors and fixed term more direct and secure employment by Council
Introduce an optional 4- day work week
Extend the right to take paid tea breaks to indoor workers
Introduce a sick leave bank where workers can donate their excess to sick leave to a pool so workers can access extra sick leave in cases of serious illness where leave entitlements have been exhausted
Extend the right to 3 extra days of annual leave (currently being trialled and are to cease), currently
