Framingham State University (FSU) is a member of the American Association of State Colleges and Universities' (AASCU) American Democracy Project (ADP), and our new Civic Engagement and Service Learning Center seeks to engage the FSU community - students, faculty, staff, and administrators to participate in activities designed to increase their civic engagement.
One of FSU’s core values is Public Purpose and Commitment, as we strive to construct a community that is committed to public purpose, informed action and service. In our current strategic plan, under the overarching goal of Academic Distinction and Student Success, we commit to preparing students to be ethical and engaged citizens committed to public purpose, inspired to service, and eager to place leadership roles in their communities, workplaces, and the wider world.
