What is Energy Literacy?  Here’s our working definition: Energy literacy includes an understanding of the role energy plays in our lives, accompanied by an understanding of its positive and negative impacts - and an ability to apply this knowledge to answer questions and solve problems.

* 4. Write down any key concepts or ‘big ideas’ you think Alberta students should learn about energy during their time in the K-12 education system. This could be knowledge, skills, or attitudes - or a combination of these.

* 6. Many commentators have called for a ‘de-polarization’ of the energy conversation in Alberta and in Canada. Do you think this is important? Please explain your answer.
