Tourism in the Carcross area is growing and creating new opportunities, as well as some challenges. Carcross/Tagish Management Corporation (CTMC) is developing a 5-year Tourism Plan to identify strategic tourism-related initiatives and investments in the Carcross area. The plan is being led by a consultant team that is working alongside a Carcross community liaison.
It’s important to CTMC that it invests in tourism development that is a good “fit” with Carcross residents and CTFN citizens. Through its plan, CTMC will be in a better position to help ensure tourism develops in a direction that is supported by the community. Your participation in this survey will help inform CTMC’s decisions, along with background research and analysis in tourism trends and visitor demand. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!
