NG911 Collaboration Events

Register to join ECN for one of five NG911 collaboration events being held across the state in the first week of June. Your feedback in these sessions will inform the NG911 strategic plan and roadmap, which ECN will publish later this year. This will not be the only opportunity for you to provide input, but it is a significant one – we hope you can join us!

Who:
  • Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) personnel
    • Directors, Supervisors, Telecommunicators
  • County and City Leadership
  • Administrators, Commissioners, Decision-Makers
  • Information Technology (IT) and GIS Professionals
  • Law Enforcement, Fire, and EMS Leadership
  • Other public safety partners involved in emergency communications
What to expect:
Check-in starts at 9:30 a.m., event begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. Lunch will be provided.

ECN leadership will be in attendance. Events will be facilitated by Federal Engineering, the contracted vendor developing Minnesota’s NG911 strategic plan and roadmap.

Agenda to include:
  • High-level NG911 overview video and presentation
  • High-level assessment of Minnesota’s NG911 readiness
  • Facilitated discussion during breakout sessions
  • Capture of stakeholder feedback, concerns and observations
  • Identification of major issues, minor issues and out-of-scope items

Attendance is free and lunch will be provided.
