2026 NAPFA Women to Know Nomination Form Survey

NAPFA Women to Know is an annual campaign to recognize female NAPFA advisors who are highlighted for their professional accomplishments and commitment to promoting women within the profession. Please use this form to submit your nomination for this year. To see previous Women to Know selections, please visit the website for our 2024 and 2025 advisors.

Nominations are open January 1 - 31, 2026. After this nomination form closes, the Women’s Initiative committee will review the responses and will reach out to all nominees requesting permission to be featured in our Women to Know campaign. Our goal is to feature different women every year so repeat recipients will not be accepted at this time. Nominees will be asked to submit a short biography and a headshot to be featured in our 2026 Women to Know campaign. A total of ten women will be selected with the goal to feature one advisor each month starting in March 2026 to celebrate Women's History Month.

6.There are several volunteer opportunities across NAPFA committees and groups. You can view some of these volunteer opportunities here. Below is more information on Women’s Initiative sub-committees which may have volunteer opportunities open up throughout the year. Please see below and indicate if you may be interested in volunteering with these sub-committees. Contact information for interested individuals will be saved and the sub-committees will reach out when volunteer opportunities open up.

Scholarship: The Women’s Initiative awards two $2,500 scholarships to female university students interested in a career in financial planning. Volunteers will review scholarship applications and select the recipients in April-May. Would you like to volunteer to review scholarship applications this spring?

Mentorship: The Women’s Initiative Mentorship Program aims to provide women a structured opportunity to accelerate personal and professional development through a mentor/mentee relationship with a female NAPFA member. The program runs from April to October. Would you like to participate as either a mentor or a mentee?

Membership: The Membership sub-committee’s goal is to promote engagement with the NAPFA Women’s Initiative. We aim to develop and improve resources so that NAPFA members can easily connect and engage with the Women’s Initiative and we aim to provide education to new WI Committee Members so that their service on the Committee can be meaningful.
