T&H Youth Summit - Call for Proposals
Gunalcheesh and Haw’aa for volunteering your time and energy to share your knowledge and hold up our next generation of leaders. This will be our second annual Youth Summit beginning on Thursday, March 17 to Saturday, March 19, 2022. This event will be held virtually via Zoom.
Please be prepared to present virtually.
We will have technical assistance available before and during the event.
Please submit a separate proposal for each workshop you are interested in presenting.
Summit Purpose and Objective
· Provide an opportunity for youth to engage in our Tribal government;
· Inspire pride in our cultural identity and heritage;
· Strengthen participants’ understanding and engagement with topics relevant to tribal youth;
· Empower youth leadership, innovation, commitment, and sharing of their knowledge;
· Foster networking, sharing, discussion, and community building;
· Build advocacy within and among youth.
Due to planning and logistics, we can accept proposals through Friday, March 11, 2022. Please submit ASAP to assure this information gets onto the website! Proposals accepted after this date may not provide sufficient time to include workshop information.
