The Banyule Festival Kids Artyfarty Fest Parade is on again and now is your chance to sign up to be part of this historic event!

Marching down Burgundy Street to Sills Bend and sponsored by The Heidelberg Central Traders, 2011 attracted over 1000 participants!

Make your mark on the Kids Arty Farty Fetsival and get your group or school involved!

Date: Sunday March 25, 2012
Time: The parade begins at 10:00am.
Where: From Mount Street Heidelberg, down Burgundy Street to Sills Bend on the Yarra River
Access: The parade route is fully accessible by car. The parade route is also accessible by foot, wheelchair and mobility aids. Participants should be aware that the entire route is approx 2.5kms and the morning of the parade will involve extended periods of time standing / waiting. Please phone Susan on 94579930 to discuss any access needs your group or members of your group may have.

2. Does your group or members of your group require any special considerations in order to participate in the parade? Such as disability access, interpreters, language support, etc

3. Do you have a vehicle in your entry?
Please state what type & size (3.5 metres maximum height X 4 metres wide)?

4. Length of entry (in metres – this will help us provide a space for you in the parade. Include cars, etc)

5. Would your group be interested in being part of a whole parade dance? (very simple and would require attendance at one rehearsal – the Choreographer could come and visit your club / school)

6. Would your group be interested in attending a community arts workshop with an Artist to help you get creative and design / build / make your parade entry?

Note: Depending on demand, workshop places may be limited to 2-3 participants per group.

After this form is received you will be sent a form requesting a further description of your entry and giving you details of the parade route and times. Parade position numbers will be forwarded to you prior to the festival.
