San Francisco Street Light Fixtures Survey
Why is San Francisco Water, Power and Sewer conducting this survey?
Did you know that there are currently more than 40 different types of street lights in use on the streets of San Francisco? That's too many. San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is creating a standard catalogue of street lights, which will:
• Reduce maintenance costs;
• Decrease wait-times for street light bulb replacement;
• Increase energy efficiency; and,
• Create more consistent streetscapes.
The new street light catalogue will have little impact upon existing street lights.
To inform this process, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is conducting a survey of San Francisco residents. It will take less than 5 minutes of your time to complete.
