  • Dave Goldberg
    • Dave Goldberg - Chief Executive Officer

      Dave joined SurveyMonkey in April 2009. He has been a successful entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and technology and music industry executive. He has run, and successfully grown, several online consumer businesses.

      Dave founded LAUNCH Media Inc. in 1994, which delivered music and music-related content online, and he led the company through its acquisition by Yahoo! in 2001. Following the sale, Dave served as Vice President and General Manager of Yahoo! Music, where he led the company's global music operations and built it into the Internet's most popular music destination. During his tenure, traffic increased from two million to twenty five million unique users per month, and four billion music videos were streamed in 2006 alone. In 2006, Dave was named one of Billboard Magazine's top power players in digital music. Recently Dave served as an Entrepreneur in Residence with Benchmark Capital where he evaluated investment opportunities for the firm and advised portfolio companies. Earlier in his career, Dave was Director of Marketing Strategy and New Business Development at Capitol Records. Dave also serves on the Board of Directors at Ancestry.com, GMG Entertainment and Dashbox. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University with a BA degree in History and Government.

  • Ryan Finley
    • Ryan Finley - Founder, Vice President, Product and Design

      Ryan is the founder of SurveyMonkey. After graduating in 1999, Ryan launched SurveyMonkey as a part-time project out of his apartment. Since then, Ryan has successfully established SurveyMonkey as the Internet's most popular survey tool, used by individuals and organizations throughout the world. In his current role, Ryan is responsible for overseeing product design and strategy. Ryan has been interviewed and featured in numerous publications such as the NY Times, Fortune Small Business, and PC World. Ryan holds a BS degree in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. His interests include architecture and design, eating good food, and searching for the perfect cup of espresso.

  • Chris Finley
    • Chris Finley - Vice President, Business Development

      Chris joined SurveyMonkey in 2002 to oversee the company's day to day Operations. Currently, Chris is Vice President of Business Development, where his primary role is strategic account management and business development with an emphasis on the Education, Government and Non-Profit sectors. Prior to joining SurveyMonkey, Chris had over 10 years of management experience. Chris holds a BA in Urban Geography from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and spent time studying abroad at Sheffield University in England. Chris is married with two children and enjoys traveling and photography. His philanthropic support focuses on nonprofit organizations specializing in education and social and economic development.

  • Noreen Bergin
    • Noreen Bergin - Vice President, Finance

      Noreen joined SurveyMonkey in May 2009. She has extensive experience in finance, accounting and business operations primarily in the software and Internet space. Most recently, Noreen spent eight years consulting with start ups and working on community projects. From 1999 to 2001, she was CFO for FusionOne. Prior to FusionOne, Noreen spent five years as SVP of Finance and Corporate Controller for Netscape, where she was responsible for all areas of worldwide finance, accounting, treasury, tax and customer operations. Prior to Netscape, Noreen held the position of VP of Finance and Corporate Controller for Frame Technology, which was acquired by Adobe Systems; additionally, she held various financial positions including the position of Corporate Controller at Boole & Babbage, Inc. Noreen holds a BA from Santa Clara University in Education and General Humanities.

  • Brent Chudoba
    • Brent Chudoba - Vice President, Business Strategy

      Brent joined SurveyMonkey in April 2009. Prior to SurveyMonkey, he was an Associate with Spectrum Equity Investors, a private equity firm. While at Spectrum, Brent was responsible for sourcing and executing Internet and online media transactions and was a member of the deal team that completed the SurveyMonkey acquisition in April 2009. Prior to Spectrum, Brent was an Investment Banking Analyst with Piper Jaffray's technology group, focused on mergers and acquisitions and debt and equity financings. Before that, Brent was a Research Analyst at Andor Capital, a long/short, technology focused hedge fund. Brent earned a BA in Political Science from Columbia University where he was a member of the Varsity Soccer Team.

  • Luis Franco
    • Luis Franco - Director, International Business Operations

      Luis joined SurveyMonkey in January 2010. He is responsible for SurveyMonkey's international operations in Madeira, Portugal. Previously he was at Portugal Telecom, where he spent 7 years in a number of managerial roles, most recently as General Manager of tradecom.pt and COO of pmelink.pt. Before PT, Luis was a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting. He has spent much of his career internationally, having worked in the U.S., Germany, Brazil, Spain and the Netherlands. Luis received a BA in Management and a post-graduate degree in Multimedia and Communications Management from the Technical University of Lisbon.

  • Philip Garland Ph.D.
    • Philip Garland Ph.D. - Vice President, Methodology

      Philip joined SurveyMonkey in October 2009. Dr. Garland is responsible for ensuring that the company's products produce optimal data quality. He also spearheads new survey tools that help researchers do more of their work in one place SurveyMonkey. Previously, Garland was Director of Global Knowledge/Chief Methodologist at Survey Sampling International. Garland has published several papers in academic journals and two book chapters in the areas of public opinion, Internet marketing, media coverage of political affairs, and intergroup relations. Garland holds a Ph.D. in Communication and an MA in Political Science from Stanford University, as well as an MA in Communication and a BA in Political Science/Communication from the University of Washington.

  • Minna King
    • Minna King - Vice President, International

      Minna King joined SurveyMonkey in April 2009. She is responsible for the company's international expansion and growth strategy. Previously Minna was at LinkedIn, where she headed up international product management and launched the site into several other markets. Before LinkedIn, Minna spent three years in international product management and operations at Shopping.com, an eBay company. Minna specializes in taking US Internet companies international, has worked in eight countries, and is fluent in several European languages. She received a BA and MA from McGill University.

  • Tim Maly
    • Tim Maly - Vice President, Business Operations and Finance

      Tim joined SurveyMonkey in May 2009. Previously he was at Google, where he spent six years in a variety of senior management roles in Online Sales & Operations. Most recently, he led the Inside Sales and Sales Strategy & Operations teams for AdWords North America. Prior to that he was Director of Operations for Google Checkout. Tim also built the international business operations for AdSense Online. Before Google, Tim worked as an Associate at Silver Lake Partners, a technology-focused private equity firm and as an Investment Banking Analyst in M&A at Goldman Sachs. Tim received a BSE in Civil Engineering from Princeton University.

  • Anne Raimondi
    • Anne Raimondi - Vice President, Marketing

      Anne joined SurveyMonkey in May 2010. Anne leads the company’s community and marketing initiatives. Most recently, she was a Vice President with Business Talent Group where she advised Silicon Valley internet start-ups as well as consulted for Matrix Partners, a premiere venture capital company. Prior to that, Anne was the VP of Marketing and Product for Insider Pages, where she helped to build a leading consumer-generated content and reviews site that was sold to Citysearch. Before Insider Pages, she spent five years as a Director at eBay, where she helped launch eBay Stores, managed the team that developed products and features for eBay Sellers, and ran product marketing for eBay’s international expansion efforts. Prior to eBay, Anne was a member of the founding team at Blue Nile, where she ran product management and visual merchandising. She started her career as a consultant with Bain & Company. Anne serves on the board of directors for OneMillionLights.org, a non-profit that distributes solar lights to children and families in developing countries. She holds a BA in Economics and Sociology and an MBA from Stanford University.

  • Selina Tobaccowala
    • Selina Tobaccowala - Vice President, Product and Engineering

      Selina joined SurveyMonkey in October 2009. Previously Selina was Senior Vice President of Product and Technology at Ticketmaster's Europe division, where she managed the 200-person Product, Technology and Operations team. Prior to that, Selina was Vice President of Online Product and Technology at Entertainment Publications, where she led the company's online sales and technology initiatives. In 1997 Tobaccowala founded Evite.com, an online invitation service that lets users organize an offline event online, and which currently sends over three million invitations per month. As Vice President of Engineering for Evite.com, she led the company's development and operations and played a key role in setting the strategic direction with the board of directors. In 2001, Evite.com was sold to Ticketmaster. Tobaccowala holds a BS degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
