 | Browsing Responses | | Example Respondent information:
| When you open the response, the display shows the respondent number that you are currently viewing and navigation arrows to scroll to different responses. You may also enter a respondent number in the “Jump to” field and click [Go >>] to jump to a specific respondent’s results. Click to see how to Print individual surveys. | |
Response Type The blue highlighted Response Type section provides all of the tracking information associated with your Collector link: - Response Type: Normal Response or Data Entry
- Collector: Collector name used to collect responses (link provided)
- Email: Included when an Email Invitation link was used to track responses
- Name: Included when the information has been entered in the Email List
- Custom Value and Name: Included when the information has been entered in the Email List
- Response Started and Response Modified: Start Date (time survey is started) and End Date (last date the survey is accessed)
Remember, the tracking information, anonymous or tracked, was determined when you set your Collector Settings for the collector under the "Save the Email addresses in your Results?" setting. * If you have set this collector to collect information, the respondent information from your email list will be tracked in the Response Type field of your survey results. If you used the anonymous or Web Link Collector, the Email Address and Name is not collected in the tracking field of the response.

 | How to see the entire survey response | | | If your survey is more than one page long, you will need to click view all pages to see the entire response.
| | | | | Viewing responses within Spreadsheet Export | | | How to Correlate the Respondent Number with the Response in the Export | As ranked by start date, the most recent responses appear at the top of your export. The last response received, most recent start date, is listed first in your export. For example, if the first response of your export is on row three, the response in row three will be the same response as the last respondent when you are browsing your results.
| The order in the Excel sheet is reversed. The most recent response is at the top of the list. This is the most recent person to respond to the survey and the response that opens when you click Browse Response. That means, if you have 100 responses, response #100 would be listed at the beginning of the Excel file, in row 3, but would be listed as respondent 100 of 100 respondents under Browse Responses. |

| | How do I see the time in my export? | To view the time with the start and end date, right click the column and select Format Cells; then select the "Date" Category. From the type selection, select the type that includes the time and click OK. The column will then be formatted to include the time the survey had been taken. To view the seconds, select Time from the Category menu when formatting the cells. Dates and times are stored in the database in UTC (Universal Coordinated Time) (aka GMT). Your results export in UTC. When browsing responses, you see the start date and time in the local time you have set for your account, but the data exports in UTC. |
