How to Send a SurveyMonkey Link or Post on Your Web Page

The link to send in your own email or post on your Web Page is called the (Web Link) Collector.

This collector type cannot track respondent information unless you create special links. You will not see the email address in your results when using the Web Link Collectors. If you need to track respondent information, please use the Email Invitation Collector.  (All responses for a single survey are stored together, regardless of which Collector 'collects' the responses.)

Question from "Kelley"
I have already created a survey and sent it out in an e-mail hyperlink. Can I add a question to the survey now, although it has already been sent? In other words, if I add a question, the new survey won't require a new link address, right?
 Support Answer

Yes, you may make edits to the survey! The Collector links do not change when you edit the survey. However, it's best to close the Collector while making changes as explained here:

Am I able to edit a question or survey once the survey has responses?
