What is a T.A.?
Transfer/Transition Ambassador's (T.A.) are student leaders who successfully transitioned to NYU and assist the Student Resource Center with providing fun and interactive programming for new and returning transfer and transitioning students.
If you are interested in CONNECTING with a T.A. for the Fall semester please fill out the following information. (There are no requirements for students interested in signing up for the T.A. - the goal is to help students during the transition period)
- T.A.'s will be able to answer questions and provide students with tips about transitioning to NYU and NYC.
- T.A.'s will host anything from events such as tours, dinners, attending NYU events and information sessions about other resources on campus!
- T.A.'s will hold Transition Chats and be open to questions throughout the academic semester.
Students who sign-up will receive an e-mail introduction to their T.A. at the end of August, just before the school year begins. New students are not required to sign-up for a T.A. in order to attend these events. They will be advertised in the Transfer & Transition Student Weekly Newsletter!
